The first event was held on February 7th 2006 from 6.30pm - midnight at the Source Cafe in Carlisle.

The programme included two artists from Poland and one from Israel: Wladyslaw Kazmierczak, Ewa Rybska and Yaron David and the following UK artists from the northwest of England: Lena Simic, Drunken Chorus, Simon Bowes, Johanna Gullin.

Henrik Hedinge told stories to members of the audience as one-to-one performances in his tent installation in the cafe area.

The event was free and the café / bar was open for drinks and light meals throughout the evening.
