John Aveyard

Jon Aveyard is a performer, composer and audio artist whose recent work has often made use of in-ear microphones to capture audio for headphone listening. These pieces concern the spatial positioning of sounds, the use of the performer's point-of-audition, and the relationship between the virtual sounds heard over the headphones and the actual events surrounding the listener.

theybreakinpieces are three artists (nick williams, paul stapleton and mona mccarthy) who are involved in multiple forms of cross-disciplinary collaboration. They are currently investigating a range of environmental interactions conducted through the media of conversation, improvised performance, and audio-visual recording technologies. These interventions take place in a wide range of urban and rural environments providing opportunities to explore the collision of localized academic, social and geographical settings.
