MAP LIVE Evening
 
The third evening of live art at the Source Cafe
Nelson Street, Carlisle, CA2 5NB
 
March 14th from 8 - 11pm
 
The second Live Art Northwest collaboration between
Matrix Art Projects and In Transit
 
The programme will include performances by
 
Drunken Chorus who will be returning to Carlisle for the second time with a new performance entitled ‘Looking for a lost friend’

Paul Grimmer and Francesca Steele will be collaborating on new work they began to develop at the National Review of Live Art this year. Their performance will be for one person at a time, and they will be performing through most of the duration of the programme. It will be possible to sign up for it on arrival at the Source

Lena Simic will also be returning for a second with a new performance called ‘Sid’. Lena will be performing with her 7months-old son

Levantes Dance Group will be making interventions throughout the evening in the café and other areas of the Source

Katrin Ostlundh will be performing with James Hamilton. The work is based on the idea of childish competition, humour becoming replaced by disgust as the performance progresses
 
The evening includes a preview of an exhibition of paintings and prints by
Gillian Naylor
 
Tickets £4 (£3 concessions) will be available on the door
All proceeds will go towards planning future live art events
